Values, Auctions, & Sale-Leasebacks

I recommending reading the “Land Talk Weekly” blog on land values in Iowa. I agree with him 100%. Yields this fall made a lot of difference on the bottom line for a lot of producers. Did not have the price, but got the bushels. Stability on the bottom line is important no matter how you get it. It is always important to keep the banker happy.

We will be having an auction on 98 acres m/l located in Marshall County, Iowa on April 5. This is a good Marshall County farm with a CSR-2 of over 89. No improvements other than tile. Good Bangor Township farm that will fit into a number of buyers' land portfolio.

We are working on some sale-leaseback situations in several different counties. Give us a call and see if we can get a sale-leaseback to work for you. We are also working on several Partition actions on several farms. Trying to work out family dynamics to reach a solution. If you are having issues on joint ownership of farms, whether it be a family situation or joint ownership with some unrelated party, give us a call or send us an email and see if we can be of assistance. Thanks!
